CMC Sterling Steel was established in 1977 as a member of the manufacturing arm of Commercial Metals Company, a world-wide organization based in Irving, Texas.

CMC Sterling Steel began operations in downtown Houston as a Rebar Fabricator. Since that time, we've expanded our business to include a Structural Warehouse and Fab Shop and have moved to our present location in west Houston. Our business has expanded as our product line and range of services has expanded. From  a rebar fab shop in the early days to a full service facility today, we stand ready to serve your needs and look for more and varied ways to service those needs.
